Virginia G. Halverson

Virginia G. Halverson serves as the Assistant Vice President of Institutional Engagement at Scripps College, overseeing the development of strategies that foster meaningful relationships between the institution and its global community. Halverson has held several key positions at Scripps College, including Executive Director of Institutional Engagement, Director of Parent Engagement and Philanthropy, and Senior Advancement Officer for Major Gifts, where responsibilities ranged from fundraising initiatives to managing large portfolios of prospective donors. Prior experience includes roles at Whittier College as Associate Director of Development and at Chapman University, where Halverson held multiple positions culminating as Creative Projects & Events Manager. Halverson holds a BA in Psychology from Smith College and an MBA in Marketing and Project Management from Chapman University.
