Veronica MacIas

Veronica Macias is a seasoned journalist with a diverse background in reporting and anchoring across various media organizations. Currently serving as a Reporter at KPIX | CBS San Francisco/Bay Area since July 2024, Veronica has accumulated extensive experience as a Multimedia Journalist at Scripps Networks Interactive since August 2015. Previous roles include News Anchor positions at News-Press & Gazette Company and Sinclair Broadcast Group, as well as a News Reporter at Media General. Veronica's career also includes reporting and general assignment duties at TMJ4 and Cox Media Group, along with foundational experiences as a News Intern at NBC4 Washington, The Washington Post, and Telemundo Network. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from UC Irvine and a Master's degree in Journalism from Georgetown University.
