Tim Flanagan

Tim Flanagan is a seasoned professional in the waste management industry, currently serving as Project Director at SCS Engineers since February 2022 and holding the position of President of the Solid Waste Association of North America. Flanagan has a rich history of leadership roles, including serving as General Manager at MRWMD from July 2005 to July 2022, and as Western Regional Manager at Urban Services of America from July 2003 to April 2005. Prior experience includes a tenure as District Manager/Director of Recycling at Waste Management, Inc. from April 1986 to July 2003, Technical Program Manager at County of Santa Clara from March 1985 to April 1986, and Solid Waste and Recycling Manager at City of Palo Alto from February 1982 to April 1985.
