Senior Product Owner

SCW.AI by Supply Chain Wizard is a fast-growing technology startup that achieved great product market fit with its Digital Factory platform, has stellar reference customers in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry; and we are looking for a Senior Product Owner team member.

The Role  

As a key member of the SCW.AI team, the Senior Product Owner is pivotal in continuously evaluating and enhancing the SCW product suite to reach its full potential. You will work closely with stakeholders to define and prioritize the SCW product backlog, providing a comprehensive view of the product(s) and playing a crucial role in determining the product life cycle. This includes collaborating with the Product Development team and key stakeholders to develop the product roadmap, define features, and write and prioritize user stories. Additionally, you will support initiatives for growth and expansion of capabilities within the SCW.AI suite.

As a member of the SCW.AI team, you will:

• Drive Product Success: Take ownership of your product’s success, ensuring it meets and exceeds market expectations.
• Shape the Product Vision: Develop and communicate the product roadmap and vision, identifying key goals and aligning them with internal teams and upper management.
• Manage the Product Backlog: Write epics and user stories, and coordinate the team responsible for these tasks.
• Collaborate for Feature Delivery: Work closely with Product Development, Test & Validation and Customer Success teams to deliver new product features.
• Engage Stakeholders: Proactively manage both internal and external stakeholders, gathering ideas and requirements, and enabling a collaborative strategy within the organization.
• Communicate Product Features: Partner with the SCW customer success team to communicate newly released and upcoming product features to clients.
• Champion User Experience: Be the leading advocate for the user experience of your product.

Desired Skills and Experience

A successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and/or MBA.

• Experience: 5+ years as a Product Owner in IT, with a background in product management within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely.

• Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.

• Leadership and Organization: Strong presentation, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.

• Industry Knowledge: Experience in Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences/Medical Devices, IT, Manufacturing, and/or Supply Chain processes & systems is not a must but a big  plus.

• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in scheduling algorithms and related analytical techniques is a significant advantage. Skills in data analysis, statistical tools, and quantitative methods such as BI tools are highly desirable.
