Valliappan Subramaniam

Valliappan Subramaniam currently holds the position of Senior General Manager - Human Resources at SDF since May 2023. Prior to this role, Valliappan served at Faurecia from September 2016 to May 2023 in various capacities, including Head HR for FCM LV India and Site Human Resources Manager. Valliappan has extensive experience in human resources, having worked as Senior Manager - HR at Wheels India Limited from May 2006 to September 2016, with a focus on talent management, performance management systems, employee relations, and policy management. Earlier in the career, Valliappan was a Senior Consultant at ManpowerGroup, specializing in staffing solutions for FMCG and BFSI clients. Academically, Valliappan completed an Executive General Management Program at IIM Lucknow, a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM & IR from Loyola Institute of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras.
