Dave Colaizzi

Dave Colaizzi has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. In 1994, they worked as a Development Director at JAM, Inc. Dave then co-founded fivestar* in 1997, where they served as the Chair of the Board and later took on the role of CEO and CTO. At fivestar*, they worked as a lead consultant on IT projects, collaborating with Fortune 1000 corporations, universities, and software development firms. In 2018, Dave joined Genelex as the Principal and CTO, where they led the rebranding efforts and developed a pharmacogenomics testing platform. Under their leadership, Genelex was acquired by Invitae. In 2019, they became a Board Member and Investor at Maitri Medicinals. More recently, Dave co-founded SignatureDx in 2020, where they currently serve as the Co-Founder and CEO. Additionally, they are currently the Chair of the Board at BioHybrid Solutions, providing leadership and guidance on key company decisions, including the search for a new CEO and leading funding efforts for planned expansion. Overall, Dave has demonstrated their expertise in leadership, technology, and strategic decision-making throughout their career.

Dave Colaizzi attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Dave studied Business Administration as well as Italian Language, Literature, and Culture.
