Thomas Varghese

Thomas Varghese has extensive work experience in software development and technology. Thomas is currently working as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Sea/ by Maritech, where they specialize in building an end-to-end digital shipping platform. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Babcock International Group, where they designed and implemented server-based applications and RESTful APIs using Microsoft technologies. Thomas also developed web applications using Angular for airport operators. Thomas has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Leicester, providing support and guidance to struggling students. Additionally, they have experience as a Freelance Developer and as a Software Engineer at Unison Ltd, where they conducted research, developed software systems, and collaborated with production teams.

Thomas Varghese completed their education in a chronological order. Thomas began their education at Gateway Sixth Form College from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained A levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Electronics. Thomas then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield, graduating in 2014. Thomas furthered their education at the University of Leicester from 2017 to 2018, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Computer Science.
