Aileen O' Sullivan is an experienced professional in the field of food and fisheries support, currently serving as Acting Director of the Food and Fisheries Support Unit at the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA) since July 2022, where Aileen also held the position of Manager. Previously, Aileen was employed at the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority from September 2007 to June 2022 as a Sea Fisheries Protection Officer and Acting Director of Food and Fisheries Support. Aileen's career began at the Food Safety Authority of Ireland as a Service Contracts Executive and Acting Service Contracts Manager from March 2004 to September 2007, following a role as a Research Officer at Teagasc. Aileen holds several advanced degrees, including a Master of Laws in Food Law from De Montfort School of Law, an MSc in Food Safety Management from Technological University Dublin, and a Master of Science in Food Technology from University College Cork, complemented by additional qualifications in management practice and health promotion.
