David Plante

David Plante is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Accounting Manager at Sea Island Company since May 2023. Prior to this role, David worked at BDO USA, LLP as a Senior Audit Associate and Audit Associate from July 2020 to May 2023. David's career began at the UGA Alumni Records Office as a Student Worker, where responsibilities included assisting with donations and managing historical documents. Additional experience includes a Summer Internship at Hyde Park Capital Advisors, LLC, and a Marketing Internship at USAmeriBank, where David gained extensive knowledge of banking and marketing practices. Academically, David holds a Master's degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, both attained from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.
