Jesus was an early employee with Sea Mar in 1983, before his career in public administration took root. Jesus has served in Public Administration for the majority of his career. Most recently, he served under Governor Inslee as Director of the Office for Regulatory Innovation and Assistance. Jesus has served in many government high-level posts of administrative positions. Jesus began his service in Public Administration in 1980 when he was appointed by Governor Spellman as the Assistant Director for the State Department of Motor Vehicles. He went on to serve in King County Government as the Director of the Department of Executive Administration, under County Executive Tim Hill. In addition, he served as the Director of the Kingdome, working with the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners. He also was responsible for the formation of King County’s Department of Development and Environmental Services (DDES). Mr. Sanchez has served on many boards and commissions both regionally and locally, as well as non-profit agencies. Currently, Jesus is the co-chair of the Sea Mar Charity Golf Tournament and a Board member of the Washington State Major League Baseball Public Facilities District Board.
