Roger Karl

Roger Karl is currently serving as a Wissenschaftlicher Assistent at University Hospital Heidelberg since May 2020 and holds the position of 3rd Engineer at Sea Shepherd Conservation Society since October 2019. Prior experience includes a Master's thesis at ZF Wind Power, focusing on measuring lubrication film thickness in radial hydrodynamic journal bearings using acoustic emission, and an internship at ZF Group in Special Driveline Technology, where Roger was involved in organizing and evaluating experiments. Earlier roles include working as a technical distributor at Welotec GmbH. Roger Karl is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Humanwissenschaften at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, expected to complete in August 2024, and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Maschinenbau from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
