Emmanuel Tom

Emmanuel Tom is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the maritime industry. Currently serving as Bosun at Strickland Service Limited since June 2023, Emmanuel previously worked as an Able Seafarer on a cable laying project in Angola with Amancio Shipping Corp. Emmanuel’s background includes roles as Rigger/AB at SPIE, where responsibilities included FPSO operations and equipment handling, and as Able Seaman at Harps Marine & Logistics Services, involved in towing and anchor handling operations. Emmanuel gained experience as Able Seaman Navigator at Ultra Deep Solutions and Marine Platforms Limited, handling maintenance and safety procedures. The career began as a Deck Cadet at Tide Water Marine, with formal education comprising a diploma in Nautical Science from the Maritime Academy of Nigeria and a National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Eastern Polytechnic.
