Douglas G. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the maritime and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Commercial and Technical Solutions at Seadrill since January 2013, Douglas has held various roles including Commercial Manager, Lead Marketing Engineer, and Assistant Rig Manager, overseeing maintenance planning for the semi-submersible West Phoenix and acting as the primary liaison between the unit and vendors. Prior to Seadrill, Douglas worked as a Project Engineer at Aker Solutions and served in the Royal Navy as a Petty Officer Engineering Technician, leading a team responsible for maintenance and equipment availability.
