Laurent Mauffrais has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laurent started their career as an Assistant Contrôleur de Gestion at Brasserie Les Frères Blanc in 1998 and then worked as a Chef de Cuisine at Village vacances Les Relais du Soleil in 1999. Laurent later joined Cap Solutions Culinaires in 2000, initially as an Assistant Recherche et Développement and then as a Technicien Recherche et Développement until 2003.
In 2003, they joined Tipiak Plats Cuisines Surgelés as a Responsable Innovations and Chef de Projets R&D, where they stayed until 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Chargé d'Enseignement at Université de Rennes 1 from 2007 to 2013.
In 2015, they joined Bagelstein as a Responsable Produits R&D and continued in this role until 2022. Currently, they are working as an R&D Manager at Seafood Reboot from 2023 onwards.
Laurent Mauffrais began their education by attending the Lycée Hôtelier de Dinard Yvon Bourges from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued a degree in BTH Hôtellerie Restauration. Laurent then continued their education at the École Hôtelière Savoie Léman from 1997 to 1999, obtaining a BTS Hôtellerie Restauration degree with a focus on Arts culinaires, de la table et du service. In 1999, Laurent enrolled at the Université de Rennes I and completed the Formation DRACI program, which specialized in R&D en agroalimentaire.
