Michael Hartsfield

Michael Hartsfield is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Seagate Technology since 2013, overseeing the manufacturing process with a focus on continuous improvement, yield enhancement, and cost reduction. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Xyratex for a decade, starting as a Manufacturing Line Support Engineer and advancing to NPI/Manufacturing Engineer. In these positions, responsibilities included managing new product line transfers and providing ongoing engineering support. Earlier experience includes a role as a Hardware Technician at HP, where Michael collaborated with engineering teams on custom server and data storage rack builds. Michael holds an Associate’s Degree in Network and System Administration from MTI College.
