Sal Malik

Sal Malik has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Sal started their career at Seagate Technology in 2005 as a National Pre-Sales Engineer, where they conducted technical sales presentations, assisted the sales staff in assessing customer needs, and maintained product knowledge. Sal later became a Lead Solutions Architect, responsible for managing the deployment of Backup and DR solutions and addressing customer installation issues.

Sal then moved on to Tegile, A Western Digital Brand in 2015, where they served as a National Pre-Sales Engineer for Canada. In this role, they worked closely with the Account Executive to formulate account strategies, conducted pre-sales calls, and acted as the technical account manager for existing customers. Sal also performed system deployment and integration of Tegile Storage solutions.

In 2016, Sal joined Carbonite as a Senior Sales Engineer, where they continued to apply their technical expertise in supporting sales efforts. Sal then briefly worked at HubStor in 2020 as a Senior Sales Engineer before joining Onix Networking Corp. as a Solutions Architect. In this role, they focused on designing and implementing solutions for clients.

Sal's most recent position was as a Sales Engineer at FutureVault in 2021, where they utilized their sales and technical skills to support the sales process. Sal is currently working as a Senior Sales Engineer at Seal Storage Technology, starting in 2022. Overall, Sal has a strong background in sales engineering, solutions architecture, and customer-facing roles within the technology industry.

Sal Malik attended London Metropolitan University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Sal Malik also obtained the Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google Cloud in February 2021.
