Pierre Vigilance

Pierre Vigilance, MD, MPH, serves as the Interim Vice President and Chief Diversity, Health Equity, and Inclusion at Lehigh Valley Health Network, focusing on strategic planning and operational structure for DEI initiatives. As an Advisory Board Member for Community Health Design Corps, Pierre contributes to advancing community health solutions for underserved populations. Pierre holds several academic positions at The George Washington University, including Associate Dean for Public Health Practice and Adjunct Professor, while also co-chairing the Diversity & Inclusion group. Additionally, Pierre is a Founding Board Member of the Community Health Design Institute and provides advisory support to organizations focused on economic justice and health equity, such as HealthUp and The Millennium Alliance. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The George Washington University.
