Martin Burns

Martin Burns is an experienced surveying professional currently serving as the NSW Land Surveying Manager at SEAM Spatial since October 2023. Previously, Martin held the position of Registered Cadastral Surveyor at Survey and Drafting Resources from December 2013 to October 2023, focusing on various surveying projects related to leases, easements, road closures, subdivisions, and Conservation Agreements, with notable clients such as BHP and the NSW Department of Industry of Resources & Energy. Before that, Martin worked at Pegasus Survey and Drafting Resources Pty Limited from March 2008 to December 2013, where Martin contributed to the early surveys of numerous mine sites in the Hunter Valley, Gunnedah, and Mudgee regions. Martin's career began at John Pearson & Associates (Pty) Limited, where from January 1991 to March 2008, extensive knowledge in both cadastral and engineering surveying was developed, particularly in the planning and engineering design of residential developments using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
