Radu Dumitru

Radu Dumitru has an extensive work experience in the software industry. Radu started their career in 2001 as a Software Developer for Bitdefender's Bullguard Development Team. Radu then progressed to Senior Software Developer & Team Leader for the Desktop Products team, and then to Software Development Manager for the Windows Servers team. In 2009, they moved to Adobe, where they were a Software Development Manager. In 2021, they joined Avast as the Director of Product Management Security, and in 2022 they became the Head of Product Management at Seaplane IO. Throughout their career, Radu has been responsible for delivering products on time, on budget and within the agreed scope, as well as managing teams of developers and system engineers, and providing technical expertise on developing and designing product architecture.

Radu Dumitru began their educational journey in 1994, when they attended Liceul Teoretic Petrosani, graduating in 1998 with a Highschool degree in Mathematics, Physics, and English. After this, they attended Academia de Studii Economice din București, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science. In 2019, they obtained a certification in photography from LinkedIn.
