Orachos Napasintuwong

Orachos Napasintuwong serves as the Deputy Head of Department at Kasetsart University since October 2022 and has been an Assistant Professor at the same institution since October 2005. Currently, Orachos also holds the position of Associate Editor for the Applied Economics Journal and acts as an agricultural policy platform contracted partner for the Food and Fertilizer Technology Center for the Asian and Pacific Region. Additionally, Orachos is the Book Review Editor for the Asian Journal of Agriculture and Development with the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA). Previous experience includes roles as an economist at CIMMYT in 2014, a Visiting Fellow at the Graz Schumpeter Centre, and a Postdoctoral Associate at the International Agricultural Trade and Policy Center from July 2004 to September 2005. Educational achievements comprise a Ph.D. in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida, an MBA from Louisiana State University, and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Mahidol University, among various professional development programs.
