Shannon Bruder

Shannon Bruder is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and business development within the international development sector. As the Director of Business Development at Search for Common Ground since June 2024, Shannon has previously held senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Program Management at Opportunity International, overseeing a $52 million portfolio of grants. At the Institute of International Education, Shannon led a team that secured over $60 million annually from major donors, while at Global Communities, Shannon managed significant USAID and USDA proposals totaling over $95 million. Earlier roles include development and program coordination at IREX, as well as service as a Higher Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Ukraine. Shannon holds a Master of Arts in International Development from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in History and Political Science and a Master's degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
