Gordon McCallum

Prior to working with Searchlight as a Senior Advisor, Mr. McCallum held various senior executive positions at the Virgin Group over an 18 year period. While at the Virgin Group, Mr. McCallum was responsible for the creation and development of the Media / Telecoms and Financial Services businesses. He also served on the boards of numerous Virgin companies and led the Group’s strategic development from 1998 to 2012. Prior to the Virgin Group, Mr. McCallum was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Inc. Additionally, Mr. McCallum is currently a Virgin-appointed Director at Virgin Atlantic Airways and Virgin Money, and also serves on the boards of other companies, including John Swire & Sons in the UK and the Advisory Board of Aldo Group in Canada. He is also currently Chairman of the Board of Hunter Boot Limited. Mr. McCallum received an MA from the University of Oxford, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
