Cristien Natal

Cristien Natal has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. In 2018, they started their career as a Tech Support Intern at Jobseekrs®. Later that year, they served as a Communication Officer at Bread and Water for Africa UK, where they provided technical support for website management, managed social media, and created graphic design and video content for fundraising campaigns. In 2018-2019, Cristien worked as a Facilitator/Designer at Chanua Ltd. In 2018, they also began their journey as a Junior Software Developer at Code Nation - Creating Employable Talent, followed by a role as a Junior Web Developer at Right Qlik Ltd in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Cristien took a career break to be a Mum and later joined The Pregnancy Pause. In 2021, they resumed their career as a Mobile Application Developer at Calendee LLC and as a Frontend Developer at SJULTRA. Currently, Cristien is a Software Engineer at SearchPilot, and they also contributed as an Open Source Developer earlier in 2021.

Cristien Natal completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, in 2014, they took an online course in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Prior to their university education, from 2010 to 2012, they attended KTJ Primary Secondary Academia Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar, where they pursued A-levels in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Additionally, they completed the Education and Training Programme for the Care for the Dying Volunteer from The Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust / Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute in August 2015.
