Duane Slyder

Duane Slyder, founder of Seasonal Roots since September 2010, established the company to enhance access to healthy, local, and seasonal food, aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of members. In addition, Duane co-founded Nutshell Designs, Inc., in April 1995, overseeing business operations, key partnerships, and marketing strategies in the home décor and giftware sector. Previous experience includes roles at the Virginia Council of CEOs from June 2014 to December 2018, Product Manager at Bridge Information Systems from September 1990 to April 1995, and positions at Boeing and Lockheed Martin in scientific analyst roles earlier in their career. Duane Slyder holds a BS in Physics and Mathematics from James Madison University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School.
