Sam Watts has held various roles in the tech industry since 2007. Sam started as a Software Engineer at BAE Systems Australia in 2007, where they developed real time embedded aircraft avionics software models. In 2011, they became a Lead iOS Developer at Future Workshops, where they built apps for clients in a range of industries and trained and mentored junior developers. In 2014, they took on the role of Lead iOS Developer at Top10.com, where they worked closely with design and founders to build the Top10 iOS app. In 2015, they became Head of Mobile Development at LoveCrafts, leading mobile development from greenfield concept through to multiple 5 star rated apps. In 2018, they took on the roles of Staff Mobile Engineer, Lead Mobile Engineer, and iOS Developer at Curve. Sam is currently a Staff Engineer at Seatfrog.
Sam Watts attended the University of Newcastle from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Computer Engineering and a degree in Computer Science with a focus in Computer Software Engineering.
