Lindsay Powers

Lindsay Powers is an experienced educator currently serving as a 2nd Grade General Studies Teacher and Librarian at Seattle Hebrew Academy since September 2016. Lindsay collaborates with administrators on classroom policies and management strategies while planning lessons in accordance with district standards. Additionally, Lindsay was appointed as Self Study Coordinator, successfully achieving accreditation from NWAIS by engaging with various community members to collect data and document findings. Previous roles include Summer Camp Owner at Music and Movement Summer Camp (2013 - 2021), Administrative Assistant at Brightwater Waldorf School (2015 - 2016), PreK teacher at Seattle Hebrew Academy (2013 - 2015), and First Grade Assistant at Bertschi School (2011 - 2013). Lindsay holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Design from the University of Cincinnati.
