Jeanna Wheeler is a research scientist and lab manager at the Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research, where Jeanna has worked since July 2009, focusing on projects under Dr. Brian Kraemer at the Seattle VA Hospital. Previously, Jeanna Wheeler held postdoctoral fellowships in the laboratory of Dr. Brian Kraemer, studying Alzheimer's disease models, and at Oregon Health & Science University in the Department of Behavioral Neuroscience, investigating mammalian models of addiction. Jeanna Wheeler attained a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Washington, during which Jeanna conducted independent research, and completed a BA in Biology at Kalamazoo College. Early experience includes a research assistant role at Wayne State University, where involvement in molecular biology techniques contributed to mapping the human lysyl oxidase gene.
