Raquel Lackey

Raquel Lackey has extensive experience in both finance and animal-assisted crisis response. As the owner of Raquel Lackey, CPA since 2016, and with previous roles including Chief Financial Officer at Mutual Materials Company, Raquel combines accounting expertise with leadership experience in various organizations. Current involvement includes being a member of Seattle Mountain Rescue and serving as a volunteer in HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response and Reading with Rover. Raquel also held leadership positions, such as President of Washington Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster, and has contributed as a board member for several organizations, focusing on providing support and comfort through animal-assisted interventions. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Puget Sound and a certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy activities from the University of Denver.
