Michelle Ludtka Furbush has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of communications and sports broadcasting. Michelle is currently working as the Director of Communications for the Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026 Organizing Committee. Prior to this, they held positions at the Seattle Sounders FC as a Sideline Analyst/Reporter and later as a Pre/Half/Post Match Host. In 2011, they worked as a Host, Moderator, Emcee, and Voice Over Artist for various organizations and events, including the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC, and Seattle Kraken. From 2021 to 2023, Furbush worked at Tagboard as a Senior Client Success Manager and later as a Client Success Manager, where they managed partnerships and large-scale productions for major events such as the Olympic Games Beijing 2022 and the Super Bowl LVI. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Podcast Creator/Producer/Host at KCPQ-TV Q13 FOX and as a Sports Anchor and Reporter. Furbush also has experience as a Sports Anchor at KIFI News Group and KIDK, and as a Stage Manager at ROOT SPORTS - NORTHWEST.
Michelle Ludtka Furbush earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Washington State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In May 2022, they also obtained a certification from the WISE Emerging Leaders Certificate Program offered by Women in Sports and Events, Inc.
