Janette Steele

Janette Steele has a diverse work experience in the footwear industry. Janette started their career at Natural Comfort as an Assistant Linebuilder in 2006 and then moved on to Steve Madden's Fix as an Assistant Design from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Steven by Steve Madden as a Product Development professional, where they worked until 2014 and held the position of Director, Product Development from 2009 onwards. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Product Development Manager at Elizabeth and James Footwear, which is a division of Steve Madden. In 2015, they joined Joie, Current/Elliott, and Equipment as the Director of Footwear Development for a year. Following this, they worked as a Freelance Footwear Design and Development professional from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Design and Development at SeaVees, Inc. starting from February 2017. Throughout their career, Janette has demonstrated their expertise in all aspects of footwear design and production, collaborating with design teams to create customer-centric collections and ensuring the successful execution of projects from concept to commercialization.
