Dirk-Jan Poot

Dirk-Jan Poot is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the offshore wind sector and oil & gas industry. Since June 2014, Dirk-Jan has served as Lead Engineer at Seaway7, a leader in offshore wind farm solutions, where responsibilities include overseeing the engineering process, preparing detailed Scope of Work documents, reviewing competitive bids, and collaborating with subcontractors during the fabrication phase. Prior to this role, Dirk-Jan worked as a Structural Engineer at KCI the engineers B.V. from November 2000 to May 2014, contributing to engineering design and consultancy services for the oil & gas sector. Dirk-Jan's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from De Haagse Hogeschool and additional mechanical engineering education from recognized institutions, showcasing a solid foundation in the field.
