Yaser Jafarian is a researcher and consultant at Deltares since September 2022, focusing on Energy and Underground Infrastructures. Concurrently, Yaser serves as an Associate/Assistant Professor at the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES), with expertise in geotechnical engineering, including the physical and numerical modeling of liquefaction and dynamic soil properties. As an adjunct faculty member at Semnan University, Yaser supervises PhD and MSc theses. Previous roles include Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at TU Delft, where Yaser worked on offshore wind turbine monopile installation, and Vice President at Armoon Geotechnical Consultant Engineers, specializing in geotechnical site investigations. Yaser's earlier experiences also include positions as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer in Iran, alongside a visiting scholarship at The University of Tokyo.
