Thiago Lopes

Thiago Lopes has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Thiago started as a UX Designer & FrontEnd Developer at CTIS, where they worked on UX for systems and websites. Thiago then joined Organizações Paulo Octávio as a UX Designer and Art Director. After that, they worked at Universidade de Brasília as a UX Designer & FrontEnd Developer. Thiago then joined Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos -OEI- as a UX Designer, Information Architect, Art Director, and FrontEnd Developer. Thiago worked at the United Nations Development Program as a Senior UX Designer & FrontEnd Developer, Strategic Designer, and contributed to creating and improving public debate platforms. Later, they joined Sicoob Confederação as a Senior User Experience and Strategic Designer, where they were responsible for the user experience of financial apps, internal and external systems, and websites. Thiago worked as a Freelancer UX/UI Designer and held various roles, such as Senior Product Designer at Cision, Engesoftware tech, Cidadania4u, and Fóton. Thiago also worked as a Product Design Freelancer Consultant at MaisVida Health Solutions, where they designed a UX app for hospital care. Thiago then joined the United Nations as a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI Specialist), working on education projects for Brazilian youth. Thiago worked as a Senior Product Designer at FIOCRUZ - Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, where they designed UX/UI products for over 20,000 medics. Currently, they are working at SEBRAE as a Design System Lead & Ops and Sr Product Designer.

Thiago Lopes holds a Bachelor's degree in Advertising Production from IESB, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Thiago further pursued their education at Centro Universitário ICESP, where they earned an Associate Degree in Communication and Media Studies from 2008 to 2010. In 2016 to 2017, they attended Faculdade Unyleya and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Design Thinking, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their formal education, Thiago Lopes has obtained several certifications, including "UX Research for Agile Teams" from LinkedIn, "Digital Transformation" from the University of Virginia, "Leadership Through Design Innovation" from Northwestern University, and "Data Leadership for Business" and "Digital Product Leadership" from Tera.
