Cory Michna

Cory Michna has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Second Front Systems since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lockheed Martin, where they held multiple positions, including Staff DevSecOps Engineer from April 2021 to February 2023, Senior Systems Engineer from June 2017 to April 2021, and System Engineer from February 2015 to June 2017. Before joining Lockheed Martin, Cory worked as a Research and Development Engineer at The Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory from March 2014 to January 2015. They began their career in the US Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class, serving from August 2007 to August 2011.

Cory Michna has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Security and Risk Analysis, which was obtained from Penn State University from 2011 to 2014. In addition to the degree, Cory also pursued a minor in Information Science and Technology during the same period at Penn State University. Prior to attending university, Cory completed high school at Bellefonte Area High School. Cory has also obtained certifications as an Information Systems Security Professional from the CNSS (Committee on National Security Systems) in December 2014 and as a CompTIA Security+ professional from CompTIA in November 2015.
