Jared Baker

Jared Baker has a diverse work experience that spans from 2013 to 2022. Jared started their career in the US Navy as an Electronic Warfare Technician, where they gained expertise in maintaining and repairing electronic systems. During their time in the Navy, Jared served as an ELINT Operations Lead and Senior Intelligence Analyst, contributing to the improvement of national databases and situational awareness for government agencies and military units. Jared also worked as a NEC C07A National OPELINT Analyst, analyzing and reporting all-source information for tactical and strategic commanders.

In 2022, Jared joined Second Front Systems as a DevSecOps Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for building, securing, maintaining, and deploying the PaaS "Game Warden" and DevSecOps pipelines declaratively through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using various tools such as Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and Git. Jared serves as the primary technical interface for customers migrating to the Game Warden platform and is involved in all environments, from development to production.

Prior to their role at Second Front Systems, Jared completed a DevOps Engineer Skill Bridge Internship with the company. During this internship, they gained a deep understanding of IT and DevSecOps operations within a venture-backed software company dedicated to providing secure solutions to the defense industry. Jared worked on building and operating cloud-based business systems using infrastructure as code (IaC) and various tools in collaboration with Amazon Web Service's tools and infrastructure.

Overall, Jared Baker has a strong background in electronic warfare and intelligence analysis, and they have recently transitioned into the field of DevSecOps engineering.

Jared Baker obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2021.
