Executive Assistant to President and CEO at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

Rae Oleshansky's work experience starts with their role as an Executive Assistant to the President and CEO at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee in 2023. Prior to that, in 2020, they worked as a Program Manager at Nurses for Newborns of Tennessee, and also held the position of Program Coordinator from 2020 to 2022 at the same organization. In 2022, they were a member of Class 79 at Young Leaders Council. In 2019, Rae worked as a Sales Associate at Orangetheory Fitness and concurrently served as an Assistant Coach at Nashville Rowing. Their responsibilities at Nashville Rowing included developing and facilitating virtual interactive learning sessions, leading team huddles and visualization workshops, and providing coaching and instruction. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Education Justice Fellow at Repair the World. In 2017, Rae served as the Community Engagement Chair for the University of Michigan Student Athlete Advisory Committee, where they developed community engagement opportunities and served as a liaison between students and leadership. They were also an Advanced Fellow and Peer Facilitator at the Barger Leadership Institute, where they instructed classes, assisted student teams with projects, and graded assignments. Finally, their work experience includes being a Student-Athlete for the University of Michigan Women's Varsity Rowing team from 2014 to 2018.

Raeruth (Rae) Oleshansky attended Bearden High School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their High School degree. Later, they enrolled at the University of Michigan from 2014 to 2018. At the university, they pursued a major in Sociology and a minor in Community Action and Social Change.
