Dane Rudy

Dane Rudy has held a variety of roles in the technology and engineering space since 2014. In 2014, they were a Student Brand Manager for Red Bull and a Crew Chief for PESC Racing, where they built and maintained an endurance race kart. In 2015, they were Program Director and Founder of Purdue Orbital. In 2016, they were a Researcher at TU Braunschweig and in 2017, they were a Vehicle Engineer at Northrop Grumman, a Technical Lead for the National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps, and the CEO of Leo Aerospace. In 2019, they were a Mentor and Alumnus of the Techstars Starburst Space Accelerator, and an Advisory Board Member of Purdue University's Cislunar Initiative. Since 2020, they have held the roles of Programs and Business Development Manager, Programs and Business Development Lead, and Business Development Lead at Second Order Effects, Inc.

Dane Rudy obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Global Engineering from Purdue University. Dane also attended the Sea Education Association | SEA Semester for Practical Oceanographic Research. In 2011, they obtained a SCUBA certification from PADI.
