Silja Tobin

Silja Tobin is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in the performing arts sector. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Internal Communications at SecondMuse since May 2024, Silja previously held the position of Associate Director of Marketing & Communications at Portland Opera from November 2017 to May 2024, where responsibilities included directing marketing strategies and fostering media relations. Prior roles include Booking Agent at Opus 3 Artists, Senior Communications Associate at the Metropolitan Opera, and Public Relations and Publications Manager at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, among others. Silja has demonstrated leadership in community-building initiatives and has successfully executed integrated marketing campaigns across various platforms.
