Communications Specialist at Secretaría General Iberoamericana (SEGIB)

Nina Sousa is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in regional communication management and social media strategy. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the Secretaría General Iberoamericana (SEGIB) since August 2015, Nina oversees social media and manages communication campaigns for Ibero-American Summits. Prior experience includes roles as a Programme Associate focusing on crisis governance at the United Nations Development Programme from August 2007 to October 2013, and as an Executive Assistant and Programme Associate at the United Nations Population Fund, where responsibilities included South-South Cooperation and HIV prevention. Nina holds several advanced qualifications, including a Título de Experto in Communication and Social Media from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Master's degree in Communication from Universitat de Barcelona, and an Advanced Certificate in Journalism from Columbia University.
