Robert Arons

Robert Arons is an Associate Director with Secretariat Economists. As an industrial organization economist and applied econometrician, Dr. Arons has provided econometric and theoretical analysis in support of market definition and competitive effects in a wide range of industries, including cable and satellite television, broadcast television, health insurance, hospital conduct, agriculture, paper storage, cloud-based platforms, and software as a service. Prior to joining Secretariat Economists, Dr. Arons was a staff economist at the DOJ Antitrust Division for five years. As a result of this experience, he has worked closely with other economists and attorneys including management in the economic and legal sections at the DOJ. He has also taught a course on Industrial Organization at Georgetown University.
