Jim Anderson, CPCU, AU, AINS has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jim started their career as a Marketing Intern at Northern Initiatives in 2009. In 2010, Jim worked as an Assistant Manager at Family Video before transitioning to a role at Verizon Wireless as a Solutions Specialist in 2011. Jim later became a Solutions Manager at Verizon Wireless in 2015. In 2016, Jim joined Auto-Owners Insurance as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and worked there until 2018. Currently, they are employed by SECURA Insurance as a Commercial Lines Underwriter.

Jim Anderson, CPCU, AU, AINS, began their education at Escanaba Area High School, where they pursued General Studies from 2002 to 2005. Following this, they attended Bay de Noc Community College from 2005 to 2008, earning an Associate's degree in Arts. Jim then continued their education at Northern Michigan University, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

In addition to their formal education, Jim has also obtained several certifications. In February 2018, they earned the Associate in General Insurance (AINS) credential from The Institutes. Jim further enhanced their insurance knowledge by obtaining the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) certification in March 2021, ensuring their standing is in good standing according to The Institutes. Jim'smost recent certification is the Associate in Commercial Underwriting obtained in May 2023 from The Institutes Knowledge Group.
