Ramani Pathak

Ramani Pathak has extensive experience in the cybersecurity industry, starting in 2004 as a Software Engineer at McAfee, where they analyzed vulnerabilities and resolved customer issues related to false positives and negatives for IPS products. In 2006, Ramani joined Palo Alto Networks as a Senior Engineer, where they analyzed vulnerabilities and wrote signatures for IPS products, and conducted research into various protocols and related software weaknesses to write exploits. In 2016, Ramani joined ShieldX as a Principal Software Engineer, developing security engineering and threat research solutions. They were later promoted to Director of Security Engineering & Threat Research. In 2020, Ramani became the VP of Engineering for SecureX.AI, Inc., leading a world-class team of developers and security researchers to deliver the next-gen vulnerability and attack surface management tools, with the goal of disrupting the cybersecurity world by increasing visibility and security in enterprises.

Ramani Pathak earned a BTech degree in Computer Science from Osmania University between 1997 and 2001. Ramani later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Ohio University, which they completed between 2002 and 2004.
