Mike Steinert

Mike Steinert has a diverse work experience starting from 1994. Mike served as a Military Police Officer in the United States Marines from 1994 to 1998. In 2002, they worked as an Institutional Equities Trader at Piper Jaffray Companies until 2004. From 2008 to 2017, they held the position of Senior Counsel at Securian Financial Group, Inc. Following this, they joined Securian Asset Management as a Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer from 2017 to 2021. From 2021 to 2023, they served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer & Chief Compliance Officer at the same company. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Securian Asset Management since 2023.

Mike Steinert completed their Bachelor of Science in Business (B.S.B.) in Finance at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 1999 to 2002. Mike then pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 2004 to 2007.
