Michael Busha

Michael Busha has extensive experience in data science and research. Michael has worked as the Director of Data Science at Securiti, where they developed and managed a centralized platform for data intelligence and security. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Data Scientist at Elastica, a Bluecoat Company, where they worked on cloud application security using data science techniques. Michael has also worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University and a Berkeley-Zürich Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Zurich, where they developed algorithms to model galaxy properties and distribution. Michael began their career as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they conducted simulations and made predictions about dark matter halos.

Michael Busha attended the University of Michigan from 2002 to 2007, where they received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics. Prior to that, they studied at Grinnell College from 1998 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics.
