Shirley Mak

Shirley Mak possesses extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as a Manager at the Securities and Futures Commission since August 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing on-site inspections of licensed corporations for securities and futures brokers and asset managers. Prior to this, Shirley held a managerial role at KPMG from December 2010 to July 2016, focusing on external auditing of licensed corporations and system testing of control procedures, along with a six-month secondment in the Intermediary Supervision Department at the SFC. Earlier career positions include audit at Aoba CPA and accountant at Monocle. Shirley Mak holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of East Anglia, earned between 2005 and 2008.
