Desmond Thomas

Desmond Thomas is an experienced professional with a diverse background in security and culinary operations. Currently serving as an Armed SPO at Security Assurance Management, Inc. since December 2017, Desmond is responsible for police safety and security tasks while enforcing regulations. Prior experience includes roles such as Sous Chef at Convene and Kitchen Supervisor at Thompson Hospitality, where oversight of kitchen operations, staff management, and food safety were key responsibilities. Desmond has also held positions as Food and Beverage Controller and Lead Cook at Marriott International, and as Lead Armed SPO at Blackout Investigations and Security Services. Desmond holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Culinary Arts and Chef Training from Baltimore International College.
