Tarek Barbar

Tarek Barbar's work experience includes being the Head of Capital Markets and Trading at Security Benefit since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Goldman Sachs from 2013 to 2021, holding various roles such as GSAM High Yield and Leveraged Loan Trading Vice President, Associate, and Analyst. Tarek also worked as a GSAM Trade Management Analyst during this time. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Tarek worked as a Sales Engineer at Carrier Corporation in 2013, and as a Project Engineer at BASF in 2012 and 2011.

Tarek Barbar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Canton High School from 2006 to 2009.
