Zachery Heinl

Zachery Heinl has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior IAM Engineer at Security Benefit. Prior to this, they worked at Dycom Industries, Inc, where they held multiple roles. Zachery started as an Intern Security Engineer, where they led efforts to off-board non-security tasks from the IT security team and tested vulnerability scanners to provide recommendations. Zachery then became an Associate Security Engineer, responsible for integrating various applications and creating a security awareness program. Eventually, they became a Staff Security Engineer, focusing on enterprise IdP systems and developing internal processes. Before their professional career, Zachery worked as a Lifeguard at Wellington Swimming Pool, where they gained experience in leadership, project management, and ensuring the safety of patrons.

Zachery Heinl attended Florida Atlantic University - College of Business from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Zachery'sfield of study was Management of Information Systems with a concentration in Cybersecurity.

In terms of additional certifications, Zachery obtained several certifications from various institutions. In October 2020, they completed the CISSP Cert Prep courses on Security and Risk Management, Security Architecture and Engineering, and the Basics from LinkedIn. In August 2020, they completed the CISSP Cert Prep course on Asset Security also from LinkedIn.

Zachery also achieved the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from Dycom Industries, Inc in May 2019, and the Lean Six Sigma Whitebelt certification from MSI International in March 2018. Moreover, they obtained the Okta Certified Administrator and Okta Certified Professional certifications from Okta in November 2021 and October 2021, respectively. Zachery also received the Security+ certification from CompTIA in April 2018 and the Real Estate Sales Associate certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in September 2018.
