Aubrey Barto has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in marketing and communications.
In 2013, Barto started their career as a Student Assistant- Audio Visual Services at The University of Akron, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they also served as the Buchtelite School Newspaper Video Editor.
In 2014, Barto began their marketing career at Americhem as a Marketing Intern. They later became a Marketing Assistant/Marketing Coordinator, working there until 2016.
In 2017, Barto joined West Roofing Systems, Inc. as a Digital Content Manager. They transitioned into the role of Marketing Manager in 2018, and stayed with the company until 2019.
Following their time at West Roofing Systems, Inc., Barto worked at FiberTite Roofing as the Marketing and Communications Supervisor from 2019 to 2020.
In 2020, Barto became an Inbound Marketing Strategist at Roundtable Learning, where they worked until 2022.
Currently, Barto holds the position of Digital and Marketing Operations Manager at Security Journey, which they started in 2022.
In addition to their corporate roles, Barto also had a freelance marketing and social media business, Aubrey Barto Marketing, from 2014 to 2019.
Aubrey Barto obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Analytics from Ashland University in the year 2020. Prior to that, Aubrey earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies, with a minor in International Politics, from The University of Akron between 2010 and 2014. Aubrey also spent a brief period in 2012 studying Political Science at Yonsei University. In addition to these formal degrees, Aubrey has obtained various certifications, including "Marketing Analytics: Data Tools and Techniques" from The Wharton School in February 2017. Aubrey also holds certifications in "Fundamentals of Technical Writing" from The University of Akron (May 2016), "Understanding Mental Illness, Stigma & Advocacy" from Passion for Change (March 2016), "Social Media Marketing" from Hootsuite Media Inc. (February 2016), and several certifications from HubSpot Academy, including "Inbound" (January 2017), "Sales Enablement" (November 2017), "Contextual Marketing" (September 2017), "Content Marketing" (March 2017), "Hubspot Marketing Software" (February 2017), and "Email Marketing" (January 2017). Additionally, Aubrey has an incomplete certification in "Advanced Social Media" from the University of San Francisco.
