Nelson Beimfohr

Nelson serves as Incident Manager, leading a team of incident responders providing 24x7 security event detection and response for a global financial client. In addition to incident response and incident management, Nelson has participated in Purple Team improvement exercises, using the results to engineer and implement advanced detections via custom SIEM and EDR rules. Nelson is adaptable and has experience in many different industries but is currently focused on the unique threats and actors that target the financial sector. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a focus in Computer Science, from Shippensburg University. Nelson currently holds his CySA+ CompTIA certification and is in the process of working on several cloud-based certifications.
